Being black is different things to different people. The music, the joy, the community, the food, the celebration, and the pain are all intricate parts of "Black Culture" to me. What is it to you?
Black culture to me is the ability to be able to stand with one another through the midst of all the struggle that this world keeps shoving up on us, and looking so damn beautiful while doing it. Black culture is celebrating our past achievements while dreaming and working for a better future.
I think black culture goes deeper than the music, dance or art. Black culture is owning up to our past and embrace the struggles that our ancestors have went through. We do that by carrying our roots with us wherever we go. The way we carry ourselves, how we speak and interact with others is what will show how we are influenced by black culture.
Black culture represents not only resilience but also authenticity and creativity like no other. There are so many rich and deep layers to explore within black culture, from activism to fine arts to food to hair to fashion etc. It embodies diversity within a talented community.

Didn't have the words, but here are just a few images of what I think of when I think of Black Culture:
Unapologetically fighting for what we believe in
Making culture despite the constant hate and oppression. Finding joy. CELEBRATING.
Being unafraid of being radical or controversial despite the ever-present danger.
It‘s being resilient in the face of injustice and finding happiness in the most unlikeliest of places soooo much that everybody wanna be us 💁🏽♀️
